Oh, Sweet Magnolia
If there is anything that I’ve learned from reading cooking blogs, it’s that I could pretty much confess to murder and get away with it because NO ONE actually reads the content. We’re all looking at the cooking blog for the recipe. It’s literally the reason there is an action button that says “jump to recipe”.
While I’m not planning to confess to a murder here, I am going to attempt to hold your attention spans with something just as juicy. GARDENING! Alright, attempting to imply that gardening is in the least bit as salacious as a murder mystery is blasphemous! Because gardening is so much better! So prop up your feet, gaze out at your beautiful (or soon to be beautiful) yard and read on for the sweetest blog this side of the Mississippi down in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. I proudly present to you (drumroll please) Sweet Magnolia: the lighter side of Magnolia’s Landscape and Design.
I almost forgot to introduce myself! I’m Chelsea, and I am the lucky lady who not only gets to spend the rest of her life with the one and only Adrian Kemplin who runs this joint! But I also am the mama to our sweet Magnolia May along with our two sons, Ashton and Liam. When I’m not writing here or designing your beautiful yard to give it that Magnolia’s Touch, I’m raising our wild things, baking a cheesecake, or doing the millionth load of laundry.
One of my rules for myself when I decided our website would have a blog was that I wouldn’t write a novel and that I would keep it short and sweet, and this the name of the blog was born! Sweet Magnolia. So, without further adieu, I must bid you farewell. And who knows, maybe the next post will be a true crime story, I suppose you’ll have to check back and find out.
Sweet Wishes,
Chelsea
